Feeding Children Living in Detention in Madagascar

In Madagascar, children are being kept in detention centers as they await trial for minor crimes, such as stealing a small amount of food. Some children in detention are as young as twelve years old, and they face unsanitary conditions and overcrowded rooms. Trial dates are not set, and these children can be held for lengthy amounts of time without the necessities of basic care. Consistent meals are not guaranteed in detention centers, leaving young children to fend for themselves whilst they await trial.

Thanks to your love and support, we have successfully provided a daily meal to 35 of these children for an entire year. We hope to provide even more meals and greater support in the future.
